We believe and teach:

1. The Bible is the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
2. There is one God, eternally existent in three Persons; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
3. Our Lord Jesus Christ is God and Man in one Person.  He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, and vicariously atoned for sin through His shed blood and death.  He was bodily resurrected from the dead, He ascended to the right hand of God the Father, and He will personally return in power and glory.
4. Regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for the salvation of lost and sinful man.
5. Eternal life is received by faith -- that is, trusting in Jesus Christ alone for salvation.
6. The Holy Spirit indwells all true believers and enables them to live a godly life.
7. Both the saved and the lost will be resurrected from the dead -- they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
8. There is spiritual unity of all true believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
9. The local church is the primary God-established base of operation for evangelistic activity in the world.
10. Every true believer is commissioned of Christ "to preach the Gospel to every creature;" and to "make disciples of all nations."

WHAT WE BELIEVE THE BIBLE SAYS ABOUT ETERNAL LIFE

1. I John 5:13 states, "I am writing this to you so that you may know that you have eternal life -- you that believe in the Son of God." We can KNOW we have eternal life!

2. Romans 6:23 states, "For sin pays its wage--death; but God's free gift is eternal life in union with Christ Jesus our Lord." Eternal life is a FREE gift!

3. Ephesians 2:8,9 states, "For it is by God's grace that you have been saved through faith.  It is not the result of your own efforts, but God's gift, so that no one can boast about it." No amount of personal effort, good works, or religious deeds can earn a place in heaven for us!

4. Romans 3:23 states, "Everyone has sinned and is far away from God's glory." We are all SINNERS!

5. Matthew 5:48 states, "You must be perfect--just as your Father in heaven is perfect." With such a high standard, no one can save himself.  No one can be GOOD ENOUGH!

6. I John 4:8 says, "God is love" and Jeremiah 31:3 says, "I have loved you with an everlasting love..." God is MERCIFUL and therefore doesn't want to punish us.

7. Exodus 34:7 says, "...I will not fail to punish" and Ezekiel 18:4 states, "The person who sins is the one who will die." God is also JUST and must punish sin!

8. John 1:1,14 says, "In the beginning the Word (Jesus) already existed; the Word (Jesus) was God...The Word (Jesus) became a human being, and full of grace and truth, lived among us."  Jesus Christ came to EARTH and lived a SINLESS life!

9. Isaiah 53:6 states, "All of us were like sheep that were lost, each of us going his own way. But the Lord made the punishment fall on him, the punishment all of us deserved." Jesus Christ paid for our sin on the CROSS and now offers eternal life (heaven) as a FREE GIFT!

10. Acts 16:31 says, "Believe (trust) in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved.." Saving faith is not mere intellectual assent, like believing certain historical facts.  Saving faith is not mere temporal faith, that is, trusting God for temporary crises such as financial, family, or physical needs.  These are good, and you should trust Christ for these, but they are not saving faith!

11. John 3:36 states, "Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever disobeys the Son will not have life, but will remain under God's punishment." SAVING FAITH is trusting in JESUS CHRIST ALONE for eternal life.  It means resting upon CHRIST ALONE and what HE HAS DONE rather than in what you or I have done to get into heaven!

Romans 10:10, 13 says, "For it is by our faith that we are put right with God; it is by our confession that we are saved" "As the scripture says, 'Everyone who calls out to the Lord for help will be saved.'"

HERE'S A SUGGESTED PRAYER:

 "Lord Jesus Christ, I know I am a sinner and do not deserve eternal life.  But, I believe You died and rose from the grave to purchase a place in heaven for me.  Lord Jesus, come into my life; take control of my life; forgive my sins and save me.  I repent of my sins and now place my trust in You for my salvation.  I accept the free gift of eternal life."

If this prayer is the sincere desire of your heart, look at what Jesus promises to those who believe in Him:

"I am telling you the truth: he who believes has eternal life." John 6:47

WELCOME TO GOD'S FAMILY!

• If you have truly repented (turned away) from your sins
• Placed your trust in Jesus Christ's sacrificial death
• And received the gift of eternal life
• You are now a child of God! Forever!

"Some, however, did receive him and believed in him; so he gave them the right to become God's children.  They did not become God's children by natural means, that is by being born as the children of a human father; God himself was their Father." John 1:12 - 13)

What wondrous grace is this?  When God called us to return to Nicaragua in 1992 we responded with hearts of gratitude, "Here we are, Lord! Send us!"  After what He has done for us, we could do no less!  Our prayer is that you will come to know this One who gave ALL that you might experience His grace and the wonder of His love!

There is no way to adequately describe the love He has given us for these needy people...so many of them trapped in generational poverty and hopelessness.  We have seen miracles, friends!  We know the transforming power of His redeeming love!  We are dedicated to sharing this wonderful NEWS for as long as we live!
